F/A-18C & F/A-18E VFA-106 Gladiators - CoNA

La société Afterburner Decals vient de réaliser une nouvelle planche de decal permettant de réaliser deux décorations spéciales pour célébrer le centenaire de l'aéronautique navale américaine. La première sur un F/A-18C "Hornet" de la VFA 106 "Gladiators" basé à la NAS Oceana et portant une décoration spéciale commémorant la livrée portée par les F6F-5 de la VBF-17 - Bomber-Fighter Squadron SEVENTEEN sur l'USS Hornet (CV 12) en 1945. La seconde décoration sur un un F/A-18E "Rhino Super Bug" de la VFA 106 "Gladiators" basé à la NAS Oceana et portant une décoration spéciale commémorant la livrée portée par les A-4C "Skyhawk" de la VA-106 sur l'USS Forrestal (CVA 59) pendant la guerre du Vietnam en 1967.

The society Afterburner Decals has just accomplished a new decal sheet allowing to accomplish two special decorations to celebrate the centenary of US Naval Aviation. The first one on a F/A-18C " Hornet " of VFA 106 " Gladiators " based in NAS Oceana and carrying a memorializing special marking the delivering carried by F6F-5 of VBF-17 - Bomber-Fighter Squadron SEVENTEEN on USS Hornet (CV 12) in 1945. The second marking on one a F/A-18E "Rhino Super Bug" of VFA 106 " Gladiators " based in NAS Oceana and carrying a memorializing special marking the delivering carried by In A-4C " Skyhawk " of VA-106 "Gladiators" on USS FORRESTAL (CVA 59) during the war of the Vietnam in 1967.
