Bonjour à tous
La société Twobobs Aviation Graphics vient de réaliser une nouvelle planche de decal permettant de réaliser deux décorations spéciales pour célébrer le centenaire de l'aéronautique navale américaine. La première sur un F/A-18C (BuNo 164673) "Hornet" de la VFC-12 "Fighting Omars" basé NAS Norfolk et portant une décoration spéciale commémorant la livrée Gloss Sea Blue WWII portée par les Grumman F-6F de la VF-12 à bord de l'USS Randolph en 1945. La seconde décoration sur un F/A-18C "Hornet" (BuNo 163733) de la VFA 122 "Flying Eagles" basé NAS Leemore et portant une décoration spéciale commémorant la livrée Blue/Blue/White portée par les F-4U "Corsair" à bord de l'USS Hornet (CV-12) en 1944.
La décoration de la VFA-122 est également disponible chez Fightertown Decals sous la référence 48056.

The society Twobobs Aviation Graphics has just accomplished a new plate of decal allowing to accomplish two special decorations to celebrate the centenary of US Naval Aviation. The first one on a F/A-18C (BuNo 164673) "Hornet" of VFC-12 "Fighting Omars" based NAS Norfolk and carrying a special decoration memorializing delivered Gloss Sea Blue WWII carried by Grumman Fr-6F of VF-12 on board of USS Randolph in 1945. The second decoration on a F/A-18C "Hornet " (BuNo 163733) of VFA-122 "Flying Eagles" based NAS Leemore and carrying a memorializing special decoration Blue/Blue/White delivering carried by F-4U "Corsair" aboard USS Hornet (CV 12) in 1944.
The decoration of VFA-122 is also available to Fightertown Decals under reference 48056.
